MULLER

Peter Muller grew up in western Massachusetts, where he began studying soft glass techniques in 1999. For several years, he worked with various artists honing his skills on diverse projects. In 2001 he established "Afternoon Glass Designs" and now his business is "Muller Glass." His vision is to create glass that captures the whimsical and fanciful essence of the animations, illustrations, and books that inspired his passion for the arts as a child. Peter hopes that through his designs, adults and children alike can effortlessly engage with the arts and be inspired by the limitless possibilities of the imagination.

In 2012, Peter transitioned from furnace to flamework. In his southern Vermont home studio, he now produces primarily functional pieces. Peter revels in further education and experience, frequently collaborating with talented glass artists all over the world. He enjoys creating narratives for his work and blurring the lines between function and art. Peter's work is part of private collections both in the U.S. and abroad.
