Swapz started his path in glass art while attending Belfast Area High School during his freshman year, circa 2009. He was making small figures and beads for family and friends. Later he studied under another BAHS graduate, professional glass artist Marta Bernbaum. He expanded his soft glass torch work into functional borosilicate glass for the cannabis community. Glass is a passion project for Swapz, as he finds value in creating handmade items that will exists for thousands of years. Following his moniker, you'll find a massive variety of techniques in his work, from his many years of experimentation and working with the flame.
